In a scene straight out of an action movie, a Seattle gas station's surveillance camera captured an Uber ride end in a fireball when it crashed into a gas pump.
KOMO News reports the driver of the SUV was working as an Uber driver 8 p.m. Monday, March 13, and was carrying a passenger. The driver reportedly lost control and sent another car into a tree, before crashing into the gas pump.
The 60-year-old Uber driver was unharmed, his passenger had minor injuries, but the driver of the other car hit sustained serious injuries.
The 16-second clip below shows the SUV somehow fly between two gas pumps before crashing into the next row:

An Uber spokesperson confirmed to KOMO News the driver was working for them at the time, and that "we will work with the Seattle Police Department" in the investigation.
Witnesses at the scene told the outlet that a 2007 Nissan Xterra zoomed past them, hit a Honda Accord and continued for two blocks before crashing into the pumps at the North Seattle Shell station. The Accord reportedly split in half when it hit a tree, which required authorities to extract the stuck and injured driver
The Uber driver was taken to a nearby hospital where investigators took a blood sample after obtaining a warrant, according to the report. Toxicology information has not been released as of Wednesday afternoon.
