DETROIT, MI - Ford Motor Co. is hosting a conference call Monday at 9 a.m. to discuss its new, 4-year labor contract with the UAW and its more than 52,000 workers at U.S. plants.
Ford president and CEO Mark Fields will host the call. He will be joined by
Bob Shanks, Ford executive vice president and chief financial officer; Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas; John Fleming, Ford executive vice president of manufacturing and labor affairs, and Bill Dirksen, Ford vice president of labor affairs.
The Ford-UAW workers voted to ratify the new contract earlier this month. The labor agreement includes $9 billion in U.S. product commitments and 8,500 jobs created or retained. About half of the $9 billion commitment is headed for Michigan plants.
