DETROIT, MI - This week Bentley Motors unveiled what it says is "the most powerful, most luxurious, most exclusive and fastest SUV in the world."
It's the Bentley Bentayga, a four-seat, five-door SUV with a twin turbo, 6.0-liter W12 powertrain.
The lux SUV was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfort Motor Show, where company CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer confirmed the vehicle's first customer to be none other than Queen Elizabeth II.
The Daily Mail in the UK reports that Her Majesty will use the SUV "for hunting and deer stalking expeditions across her sprawling Scottish estate." She's paying PS160,000 (about $250,000) for the Bentayga, which will replace her green Land Rover.
The interior of the Bentayga was handcrafted in Britain. It features metal, wood and leather trim details.
Its 12-cylinder engine achieves 600 horsepower and gives the Bentayga a top speed of 187 miles per hour. That's mated with an eight-speed, automatic transmission.
