If you thought that the Woodward Dream Cruise only had your garden-variety classic sports cars, you must have missed the airplane, the jacked-up van and the "shaggin' wagon" from the movie "Dumb and Dumber" rolling down the street this past weekend.

DETROIT, MI - If you thought that the Woodward Dream Cruise only had your garden-variety classic sports cars, you must have missed the airplane, the jacked-up van and the "shaggin' wagon" from the movie "Dumb and Dumber" rolling down the street this past weekend.

Luckily, MLive's Tanya Moutzalias spotted these and other oddball vehicles along Woodward Avenue among the chrome sea of some 40,000 vehicles.

About 1.5 million people were expected to line the Woodward corridor from Pontiac to Ferndale on Saturday, making the Dream Cruise the largest one-day auto event in the world, according to organizers.

For such a to-do, it's no wonder people get a little creative. There were also three-wheelers, what appeared to be a fire-damaged Dodge Neon and a replica of the "Mystery Machine" of "Scooby-Doo" fame.

Perhaps Scooby, Shaggy and the crew can solve who stole two classic cars that are still missing.
