DETROIT, MI - One is designed as an urban tuner vehicle, the other an offroad adventurer. Both of the new, special edition versions of the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado will arrive at dealership this fall.
On Monday, the General Motors brand showed off the all-black Midnight Edition Colorado, a mid-size echo of its Midnight Edition Silverado.
The Midnight Edition Colorado will come available on LT models with the extended and crew cab bodies in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and with 2.5L or 3.6L engines. It will also be available with the new 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine.
The Colorado Trail Boss will be available with the new diesel engine, too, as well as the 2.5L and 3.6L. It will come on the Z71 trim with two-wheel or four-wheel drive.
Pricing for both of the special edition trucks will be announced later.
