LOS ANGELES- Auto shows are about debuting some of the newest vehicles the U.S. auto industry has to offer, but they’re also about envisioning the future.
Concepts at the 2012 LA Auto Show ranged from the already revealed Chevrolet Tru 140S and Code 130R to the Honda EV-STER, a small sports car that generated quite a buzz at the show, and the world premier of Hyundai’s Veloster C3 concept convertible.
The C3, which stands for convertible 3-door, offers a distinctive canvas roof that opens to the rear or windshield of the vehicle. Hyundai said drivers can roll the top forward, open the tailgate, fold the rear seats and the C3 goes into recreation mode - perfect for surfing, biking or kayaking.
