DETROIT, MI - Another company is moving its headquarters from the suburbs to downtown Detroit.

The Detroit News notes that Troy-based advertising firm Agency 720 will move its home base to urban Detroit in a week.

The company first announced the move in a statement last June:

We’re proud to announce a home office move to the heart of the Motor City. Troy was a great place to start, but now we’re ready to take Detroit by storm. And will do it from the nineteenth floor of One Detroit Center. This skyscraper of 43 stories is set in Motown’s financial district, and is a standout in any depiction of Detroit’s skyline. It’s just second in height to the GM Renaissance Center, just a few blocks away. And as this city becomes known for its rock solid work ethic and a knack for overcoming obstacles – looks like we’ll fit right in.

Agency 720 prides itself as being "Chevy's turnykey agency of record," and the Detroit News notes that the move will put the advertising firm closer to this prominent client.

The company is a division of the Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC). It was spun off by employees of Campbell-Ewald and BBDO Detroit in April 2011. Its 31 employees will move into 10,000 square feet of space on the 19th floor of One Detroit Center on Woodward Avenue, the Detroit News reports.

Aside from its Detroit headquarters, Agency 720 has offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.
