$7 million worth of exotic and luxury cars displayed at Detroit auto show's Gallery Trio

DETROIT, MI - If you get excited by names such as Lamborghini, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce, then we have a gallery of photos (above) for you.

Luxurious and exotic cars from these brands and others were on display this weekend at the MGM Grand casino and hotel in Detroit as the 2015 North American International Auto Show officially gets underway.

Collectively, the cars at the NAIAS' Gallery Trio event, which cost $1,000 per ticket to attend, are worth more than $7 million.

More than 40 vehicles are expected to be unveiled at NAIAS. The show runs Jan. 12-25 in Detroit. Press preview days are Jan. 12-13, followed by industry preview Jan. 14-15 and a charity preview on Jan. 16. The show will be open to the public Jan. 17-25. Some 800,000 attendees are expected to pass through the Cobo Center's doors for the event.
