DETROIT, MI - Mopar said Friday it will be showing off what it can do with a pair of Jeep Renegades and a Dodge Challenger at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, which starts next week.
The performance parts brand said one Jeep Renegade Trailhawk is off-road themed - splashed in a commando green color and with a map of Detroit on a Mopar Topographical Hood decal. It has cross rails and a Mopar roof basket. It has accents of neutral grey and satin black.
The urban-themed Renegade, on the Limited model, is aimed at "youthful city and suburban dwellers," FCA said. It's in Anvil paint with Omaha orange accents, and has a Mopar hitch bike carrier.
These are just a few of the Jeep Renegades' Mopar upgrades, of course.
They'll be on display for full inspection during NAIAS, open to the public Jan. 17-25.
The Jeeps will be joined by a Dodge Challenger T/A Concept, in sublime green with black matte finish from the front fascia to to the rear deck-lid spoiler.
"The company exhibit at the North American International Auto Show will highlight vehicles from all FCA brands, including three modified rides that illustrate how Mopar can assist customers in bringing to life their own personal vision of an FCA vehicle," Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, said in a release. "Customers can pull from our portfolio of Mopar products to augment the versatility and capability of the all-new Jeep Renegade, as shown with two Mopar-equipped Renegade vehicles, or to beef up the muscle of the Dodge Challenger while adding a vintage feel, as demonstrated by the Dodge Challenge T/A Concept."
