DETROIT, MI- Subaru this week offered a dark sneak peek of its upcoming 2015 Legacy before its scheduled world debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.

The all-new midsize sedan, according to the Japanese automaker, “offers a sleeker, more coupe-like profile with a faster windshield rake angle and narrower A-pillars that create a sporty and modern sedan.”

Subaru unveiled a concept version of the Legacy (pictured above) at the 2013 LA Auto Show in November alongside the all-new 2015 WRX. If the actual production Legacy is similar to the concept, it will arguably turn some heads.

The concept featured a prominent grille coupe-like silhouette; 21-inch wheels; smooth lines; and “hawk eye" headlamp design.

The 2015 Legacy is expected to be one of about 20 vehicles debuting at the show’s press preview days Feb. 6-7. The show is open to the public from Feb. 8-17 at Chicago’s massive McCormick Place conference center. Tickets to the show are $6 for senior citizens and children between 7-12 years old; $12 for adults; and free for children 6 and under.
